Because the world really needed another blog dedicated to the Portland Trail Blazers. We're a group of journalists and fans who've grown up with--or have grown to love--Oregon's only professional franchise (and this won't change when MLS comes to town). Plus we're convinced that--if given the chance--we could totally hit the Toyota halfcourt shot. Until then, we're stuck here in the Portland Roundball Society.

Meet: JJ Hickson

It’s time to meet the last new Blazer, Mr. JJ Hickson. In case you haven’t heard how Portland picked him up off of waivers from the Kings, now you have. The amount of trillness (that’s truth and realness), Hickson exudes is becoming a real story line for the second half of the Blazers’ season. Enjoy these very carefully researched facts, and if you follow me back home, you will find a very, very short story of how I waited for an hour outside a Verizon store to meet Nicolas Batum.
