Late last night as I lay listlessly, a ghostly visage appeared to me, flickering in and out as though the glow of a television were the only thing illuminating the person, and talked to me. I remember very little beyond bits and pieces, I’ve heard that the visage of the incorporeal is itself a memory unable to print upon the human mind, but I translated the words in my sleep state to Spanish and was quite able to remember the few cryptic phrases I heard (the best way to save an encounter with the unliving is to store it in another part of your mind where normal memory does not lay). Upon waking from my frozen sleep, I quickly drew what my mind would allow me to remember and wrote down the phrases. Here translated is what he kept repeating, over and over again, like some kind of echo from the past. Perhaps they were his dying words, but as he faded from my bedside he wailed, “Sasha Pavlovic should have played more than five minutes, he’s a veteran………”
