ABOUT THE SOCIETY
Because the world really needed another blog dedicated to the Portland Trail Blazers. We're a group of journalists and fans who've grown up with--or have grown to love--Oregon's only professional franchise (and this won't change when MLS comes to town). Plus we're convinced that--if given the chance--we could totally hit the Toyota halfcourt shot. Until then, we're stuck here in the Portland Roundball Society.

PRS Preview Podcast: Blazers at Mavericks with Connor Huchton

For this installment of the PRS Preview Podcast, I talked to my friend and Hardwood Paroxysm colleague Connor Huchton, a contributing writer for the TrueHoop Mavericks blog The Two Man Game, about tonight’s Blazers-Mavs matchup. We discussed the Mavs’ surprising start following the injury to Dirk Nowktzki, the impact of newcomers O.J. Mayo and Darren Collison, the Shawn Marion-Nicolas Batum matchup, and more. Listen to the podcast below and be sure to follow Connor on Twitter at @ConnorHuchton.

I definitely agree that Stotts needs to play Claver and Barton more. He's seems to be playing the starters too many minutes. Lillard as a rookie is averaging 38 minutes. I understand Smith is his only back up so he has to play a lot of minutes or suffer through Smith's attempt at playing point, but Stotts has to at least consider playing Barton more.

Hi. SoundCloud has an option to enable downloads. If would be cool if you enabled it so I could download these podcasts from your site and put them on my iPod.
