We're a group of journalists and fans who've grown up with--or have grown to love--Oregon's only professional franchise (and this won't change when MLS comes to town). Plus we're convinced that--if given the chance--we could totally hit the Toyota halfcourt shot. Until then, we're stuck here in the Portland Roundball Society.

PRS Preview Podcast: Blazers vs. Spurs with Jesse Blanchard

Coming off a Thursday loss to the Clippers, the Blazers take on the 5-1 San Antonio Spurs tonight at the Rose Garden. To preview the action, I talked to Jesse Blanchard, a writer and illustrator for the ESPN TrueHoop Spurs blog 48 Minutes of Hell, on the latest episode of the PRS Preview Podcast. We discussed Tim Duncan’s fantastic, age-defying start to the season, the similarities between Nicolas Batum and Kahwi Leonard, how the Lillard-Aldridge pick-and-pop might exploit San Antonio’s defensive weaknesses, and more.
