The NBA is a tad bit sensitive right now. I wonder why?
But it's not just the fact that the Wizards' locker room resembles the final scene in Reservoir Dogs (Earl Boykins is Mr. Pink) that is causing David Stern to lose sleep at night, it's Twitter. The league has launched "Twitter guidelines" and has already reached into the pockets of a few players, including docking Brandon Jennings to the tune of $7500, which in Milwaukee currency is like a billion dollars.
That being the case, could the hottest hand on the Blazers be next? Martell Webster took to the twitiverse with this post last night (see screenshot). While he didn't send the tweet from the Rose Garden itself, he is critical of league officiating, which any coach can tell you is not a comment you should share unless you have your checkbook handy. It's hard to predict if what Webster said was worthy of a fine, but in a league where your agent's comments can cost you more than what most bloggers make in a year, you never can tell.
